After a two-week hiatus, we got a new test version of the iOS 17 system
It is primarily intended for developers, but anyone can try it (at their own risk).
This evening Apple released the third developer beta version of the iOS 17 operating system. Apple Music. As we informed you, anyone can now become a tester without having to pay a fee of $99 per year.
The third beta versions of watchOS 10, iPadOS 17 and macOS 14 also saw the light of day today. You can check the availability of the update on your Apple device through the menu Settings – General – Software Update.
iOS 17 beta 3
iOS 17 beta 3 does not bring any significant new features apart from fixing a number of bugs, but it is more in the spirit of cosmetic changes. Here is a list of the most important ones:
In Apple Music, you can find more detailed information about the songs being played, such as who is the producer, which artists perform in it, who wrote the lyrics, or whether it is available in Lossless, Hi-Res Lossless or Dolby Atmos. The menu with a selection of widgets in Messages, which has a completely new design in iOS 17, now displays thumbnails of the latest pictures from the gallery for the Photos item instead of a static icon. In addition, you can adjust the order of items to your liking after holding down your finger. Added a “What’s New” screen to the Home app and changed the slider graphics for the RGB lights. + added a new garage door icon.

When will the final version be released?
We should expect the release of the final version of iOS 17 to the public shortly after the official presentation of the new iPhones 15. It is still early for the exact date, but it is not difficult to estimate that the release should take place sometime at the end of September.
