iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, which are major updates for iPhone and iPad devices from Apple, are now available and can be downloaded.
Reporting from Between, Tuesday (19/9/2023), in iOS 17 there are a number of interesting new features related to telephone calls. The new feature from Apple is called Contact Posters allows users to choose a photo or Memoji as well as the type of font that will appear on the screen when calling someone.
There is also Live Voicemail which will display a live transcription of the voice message real time when someone leaves a message. The end call button is also placed slightly differently.
Messages also has some improvements, including a new way to access the app iMessage. Thanks to the upgrade autocorrect in iOS 17, users will have less chance of typos.
Other features present in iOS 17 are StandBy. When the user charges the iPhone in landscape mode, the screen can display a large clock, various widgetand photos.
Please note that users with an iPhone X or iPhone 8 will not be able to update to iOS 17.
Meanwhile in iPadOS 17, the most striking change is that users can personalize the lock screen in a similar way to what Apple does on iPhones with iOS 16.
