One of the big new features of iOS 17.2 is the Diary application, a tool for taking notes and recording memories. To make the experience more dynamic and similar to what “journaling” would be like outside of your cell phone, the app brings several interesting features.
Examples of these include writing suggestions, a notification system to remind the user to write daily, the ability to include photos and even exercises to illustrate your diary.
Another long-awaited new feature is the ability for spatial videos optimized for Apple Vision Pro, scheduled for launch in January 2024. With the update, this feature became available for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Additionally, users of these two models can now also use the action button to quickly translate sentences or even chat with a person in another language.
