iOS 16 Finally Brings Always On Display To iPhone

WartaSidoarjo.com – Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference for this year is just a week away.

This event is known to reveal what Apple will be offering for its operating system and now, some leaks reveal that iOS 16 can bring one of the most beloved features of Android – Always On Display.

Mark Gurman of Bloomberg revealed this in his recent ‘Power On’ newsletter. This reveals that Apple’s implementation of the always-on display will be almost similar to the one found on Android, albeit with Apple’s spin on it.

This feature is only available on models iPhone 14 Pros to come. Apparently, the feature was previously meant to be in iPhone 13, but they decided to wait.

It’s probably because of the series iPhone The 13 Pro sees a screen with a high refresh rate and adding Always-On can affect battery performance.

How about battery performance?

Hopefully, when this feature rolls out to users this year, Apple can implement improved battery technology or certain OS-level optimizations to balance power consumption with high refresh rate panels and always-on states.

Other expected features iOS 16

Expect some noticeable changes in the look and feel of the OS, with new ways of handling multitasking and windowing.
