JawaPos.com – At the World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) some time ago, Apple has just revealed about iOS 16. Many features are presented through the new operating system or OS that Apple will release.
One of the interesting things, in iOS 16, Apple has added support for Nintendo Switch Pro and Joy-Con in iOS 16. Riley Testut, one of the developers of the game emulator on iOS called Delta, revealed this.
In a post on Twitter, Riley said iOS 16 already supports right or left Joy-Con separately, or both as a single controller. Frankly, he said, gamers can switch Joy-con individually or as a controller.
“Users can sync Joy-con with their iPhone by holding down the screenshot capture and home buttons on the Nintendo Switch controller for a few seconds,” said Riley.
Not only that, Riley also confirmed that iOS 16 also supports the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. For those who are already using the iOS 16 beta, you can find these controller settings in the Bluetooth menu under Settings.
Apple said the new public beta version of iOS 16 will launch in July 2022 and will be released globally this fall. And for your information, iPhone has supported PlayStation 5 Dual Sense and Xbox Series X joysticks since iOS 14.5 was released in April 2021.
