iOS 16 beta 3 gets original clownfish wallpaper

Users of the first iPhones on the market will certainly remember the classic wallpaper of a clown fish, which was used by Steve Jobs to reveal the iPhone in 2017. Unfortunately, this wallpaper was never released for the final versions of the device, having been only used in advertising material.

With the arrival of the new iOS 16 developer beta 3 to several developers’ iPhones, it is starting to confirm that this new version has a set of news, where the arrival of the clownfish of the original iOS is found.

Apple iPhone original fish wallpaper

Almost 15 years later, users will finally be able to use the same wallpaper that Steve Jobs would have used to reveal the original iPhone. Bloomberg analyst, Mark Gurmanwould have been one of the first to check out the wallpaper in the recent build.

However, something curious, not all users in this same build are receiving the image. In other words, it seems that Apple is carrying out tests at random, where only a few users receive the news.

Remember that Apple, despite not having released the image for the iPhone, released as a wallpaper Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, released in mid-2009.
