iOS 16.2 next beta to enable 5G support in India

Apple is expected to activate 5G support for Indian users in the next beta of iOS 16.2, which will be released next week, foreign media reported on 3 (local time).

▲ iPhone SE 3rd generation ▲ iPhone 14 ▲ iPhone 13 ▲ iPhone 12 series released in India is compatible with 5G. These devices will receive beta software updates next week, with full updates in December.

Airtel and Jio carrier users participating in Apple’s beta software program will be able to use 5G mobile phones after next week’s beta update. Apple is expected to release the official version of iOS 16.2 in December.

Meanwhile, Samsung plans to roll out the 5G support update to all compatible Galaxy devices in India by mid-November.
