Starting from The Verge, this feature is not available on all four devices. ON iOS 16, Apple update battery icon on iPhone with Face ID to show battery percentage.

Information on the remaining battery percentage is missing on iPhones that have Face ID in iOS 15, due to the lack of space on either side of the screen notch or notch, which houses the TrueDepth camera hardware.

However, the updated iOS 16 design adds a specific battery level to the battery icon, providing a better description of the battery status.
