Apple has just released the first corrective update since September 20 tonight. All users eligible for iOS 15 can now download the iOS 15.0.1 update from their iPhone. The new version does not add anything new, but corrects some bugs!
iOS 15.0.1 released
Two weeks after the launch of iOS 15, the iOS 15.0.1 update is available for users whether or not they have migrated to iOS 15.
This update fixes a few bugs and should a lot to interest recent owners of iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Indeed, it fixes the famous bug which prevented unlock your new iPhone via Apple Watch when we wear a mask and Face ID does not recognize us.
Apple had committed to a support sheet a few days ago at quickly fix this bug. Obviously, Apple developers have been responsive since the update is now available.
IOS 15.0.1 fixes
Here are all the fixes for the new update released tonight:
- Unlocking via Apple Watch on iPhone 13s works again
- The false alert indicating that the storage is full in the settings is removed and the storage indication returns to normal
- Audio meditations no longer start unexpectedly during a workout on Apple Watch via Apple Fitness + (does not apply to France)
To install iOS 15.0.1, go to the settings from your iPhone then in General, you will find “Software update“.
You just need to download and then install the new version.
If you are not reassured, you can also wait until tomorrow before installing iOS 15.0.1, if a major bug or a battery problem is present, we will let you know quickly !
