Overwolf has announced a partnership with KRAFTON, the publisher that brings together PUBG STUDIOS, Striking Distance Studios, Unknown Worlds and VECTOR NORTH. This collaboration will lead to the creation of an official modding program and mod repository for the upcoming life simulator in ZOI.
CurseForge is a division of Overwolf and is one of the leading mod publishing platforms. The platform allows modders and players to securely discover, share and improve games with mods and add-ons. As part of the partnership, Overwolf will work with KRAFTON to identify early access modders to create content before the game’s release and create a safe and secure space for inZOI mods to be hosted on CurseForge.
Unlike other life simulation games, inZOI features photorealistic graphics, setting a new standard for the genre. Key gameplay elements include the Karma system where the player’s past actions affect the future, a City Edit feature for managing the weather and tables -city accounts, and group activities.
KRAFTON also announced the release of a limited time version of the character editor in ZOI: Character Studio. Editor mode will be available globally from 07:00 UTC on August 21 to 07:00 UTC on August 26, allowing players to create their own avatar with over 250 customization options.
