The honorary president of DIF Michoacán, Grisel Tello Pimentel, invited the population to join the collection of toys that will be distributed within the framework of the celebration of the Day of the Boy and the Girl, to minors who live in vulnerable areas of the entity, “we want to celebrate them, let them know that they are not alone”.
In interview with Adam Garcia for Front Page RadioGrisel Tello stressed that the collection started on April 13 and non-war toys without batteries are being collected.
“The intention is to take children from all over the state in different municipalities, we are going to make targeted deliveries for April 30 and the intention is to bring that to them, make them smile, let them know that they are not alone, that there are many good people who we are accompanying them, that we are making an effort, a job for them and because we are better as a society”, he added.
Tello Pimentel pointed out that the collection will end on April 23 and donations are being received from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the DIF Michoacán facilities, located in the Bosque Cuauhtémoc in Morelia.
He stressed that they are asking that the toys be new and not warlike or use batteries, since it also seeks to encourage the imagination of the children who receive them on April 30, he concluded.
