The Volunteers started the “A Winter Without Cold” campaign to collect warm clothing that will be delivered in the Sierra Norte
With the purpose of collecting warm clothing to donate to people who live in different communities in the Sierra Norte of Puebla, as part of the “A Winter Without Cold” campaign, the Volunteers of the State Congress installed a collection center in the Unit of Citizen Assistance of the Legislative Branch.
The Volunteers of the State Congress invites citizens to donate used clothing in good condition for the cold season, at the Citizen Assistance Unit located at 5 Poniente street number 128 in the city of Puebla, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The head of Volunteering, Vania Vidal Marcelo, pointed out that citizens can donate sweaters or jackets for girls, boys, adolescents and adults, since these warm clothes will be delivered in the Sierra Norte of the State, where it is colder during the winter.
The collection center will receive the outerwear until December 5, 2023, so that the Congressional Volunteers can deliver it later.
