Jakarta, Insertlive –
Ustaz Felix Siaw gave scathing criticism to Deddy Corbuzier who invited gay couples in his podcast.
Deddy invited Ragil Mahardika and Frederik Vollert and discussed their life in Germany as a same-sex couple.
Because he was considered promoting LGBTQ, Deddy Corbuxier became a trending topic on Twitter after the podcast was released.
Not only netizens protested and criticized, Ustaz Felix also opened his voice about Deddy’s content.
He considered that he had to open his voice because Deddy had openly spit negative and immoral things in religion.
“Because it’s already open, even with a very provocative title and proud of disobedience, remembering it must also be open,” he wrote on Instagram, quoted Monday (9/5).
“Those who say, “Have you watched it yet to the end?”, the answer is, no and no need. Because from the title and the invitees, it has become a negative campaign and is far from religious guidance, at least it makes people feel natural with ugliness and sin.,” he continued.
Ustaz Feliz thinks that with this content, it will be considered natural by the public and viewers on social media.
As a fighter in religious matters, Ustaz Felix also feels the need to open his voice to remind Muslims to stay away from sin and immorality.
“We have no problem with the perpetrators of immorality, they can repent, be invited to repent. But we hate immorality, spread immorality and consider it normal,” he wrote.
“I know, there are definitely pros to negative content like this. I also don’t know how long this post aired before it was taken down. Just reminding is my duty, conveying kindness in the best way is part of my duty,” he added.
