Investor’s Guide to the Proposed Company Transformation Act and Its Impact on ČEZ Shares and the Prague Stock Exchange

The government’s proposal for the Company Transformation Act, dubbed Lex ČEZ II, shook investors. To its creators, it is presented as a harmonization of legislation and not aimed at a specific company, but in the mainstream view of the capital market, it is seen as a rough opening of the way to an easier full nationalization of at least a part of the domestic ČEZ energy industry. We will try to approach the topic of the key share of the Prague Stock Exchange, which is held for a long time by many institutional investors, but also small investors mainly for the dividend, in a comprehensive and emotionless way. What do we know about the upcoming standard? In what form can the division of ČEZ take place and what would that mean for investors? Can the standard be used for other domestic market shares and in what form? What are other long-term attractive investments on the Czech and foreign markets, not only in terms of energy and dividends? In short, where to invest if it were not in ČEZ as we know it on the stock exchange today? These questions form the central theme of the Patria Finance online conference on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. Don’t hesitate sign up for free and online now!
