Investigators Go to Egypt, Examine Yeni Key Witness Serial Killer Wowon cs

Jakarta

Investigators from the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya together with investigators from the Cianjur Police will go to Egypt to meet one of the female workers (TKW) named Yeni. It is known that Yeni is one of the victims, as well as a key witness in the case serial murder Wowon cs.

“There is a key witness here. Here is sister Yeni who is currently working in Egypt. The plan for the investigation team is to go to Egypt to investigate the relevant information,” said the Director of General Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Hengki Haryadi to reporters at Polda Metro Jaya, Sunday (5/2/2023).

Hengki said that Yeni’s statement was very important. Yeni, he said, had a hand in dismantling the serial killer Wowon cs case.

“It is very important that the statement concerned is due to the revelation of this serial murder from Yeni,” he said.

“Secondly, it was Yeni who recruited the TKW to send some funds. But remember it was Yeni who also sent large amounts of funds to this group,” he continued.

Hengki explained that Yeni was also a victim of the serial killer Wowon cs. Yeni sent money to Wowon cs and was not spared as a target to be killed by the group.

“Imagine every salary, 3-4 million depending on the ups and downs of the dollar exchange rate, sent through her husband (Dede), then sent to Wowon. So the person concerned is also a victim and even wants to be killed twice,” explained Hengki.

“The first was when he was brought to Lampung according to the suspect’s confession. The second was when he was called by Duloh, he was put to sleep and then tied up, pulled, but because he resisted he was able to escape,” he said.

Because of that, Henki said that his party would go to Egypt to study Yeni’s role in this case. Yeni, said Hengki, could not be flown to Indonesia because she was still bound by a contract.

“Did the person concerned commit the crime, mens rea or actus reus. Did he know he was recruiting to both benefit because his innocence included the others. Because the person concerned also sent money to the suspect and disappeared too. Then actus reus, what did he do, what did he do? he did it, he knew he would get profit, so we will check it in Egypt,” explained Hengki.

“Yeni is very important to uncover the motives of the victims or maybe there are other suspects,” he concluded.
