Al-Marsad newspaper: Investigations have revealed new details of the attack on nursing staff and workers at Quesna Central Hospital in Egypt.
The victims were attacked by a group of people inside the general hospital, in the women’s ward, and they attacked the medical and nursing staff by beating them.
One of the nurses who was beaten by a patient’s husband and her family inside Quesna Central Hospital in Menoufia Governorate explained that the patient’s family attacked 4 nurses, 4 workers and a security personnel beating up and attempting to steal their phones; to prevent the incident from being documented.
She added that they had come in with the sick woman to help her, but her family was in a state of revolt and anger at everyone, because her husband, brother and others attacked them and others, and as a result she was suffering from bruising separate areas of her body.
One of the women affected by the attack against them inside the hospital confirmed to the investigating authorities that the incident took place in front of all hospital staff, and about the type of attack against them, one of the victims replied that the assault occurred with cursing, cursing, name calling, and beatings.
The victim explained to the investigating authorities that he had suffered some injuries at the hands of some people who appeared on surveillance cameras.
One of the nurses indicated to the investigating authorities that one of the defendants in the accident hit her with a pen in the face and injured her shoulder, and a medical report of the injuries was made inside Quesna General Hospital.
