NEW YORK — Authorities are investigating the death of a 27-year-old woman found stabbed outside a residential complex in a typically quiet community about 30 miles from Manhattan.
Prosecutors said Wednesday that Somerville Police officers, who responded to a 9-1-1 call Tuesday night, found the victim’s body riddled with wounds outside a complex in North Bridge Street. It appeared that the woman had been stabbed several times.
Authorities did not immediately release the name of the victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of Wednesday morning, no arrests had been made. It was unclear whether police believed the attack was random.
