According to AFP and Rianovosti news agency, the Russian Federal Investigative Committee said on the 25th (local time) that “the bodies of 10 victims were found at the plane crash site” and that “molecular genetic testing for identification is in progress.” It is.

The investigation committee also added that it had secured the necessary items and documents to investigate the circumstances of the accident, including a flight recorder, and “ordered the necessary forensic investigation.”

“We will carefully review all possible cases regarding the circumstances of the accident,” he said.

On the 23rd, a Wagner Group plane crashed near Kuzenkino in the Tver region of western Russia, about 300 km northwest of Moscow, killing Prigozhin and all 10 people on board.

Immediately after the accident, eight bodies were identified at the crash site, but the other two were not found.

As a result, even though the aviation authorities confirmed that all 10 people on board were dead and that Prigogin was on board, conspiracy theories continued to question whether Prigogin was dead or not.

In addition, observations were raised that Prigozhin, who attempted an uprising two months ago, might have been retaliated against by President Vladimir Putin, but the exact circumstances of the accident have not yet been revealed.

The Kremlin Palace dismissed the suspicion that the Kremlin Palace was behind the incident that day as “a complete lie.”

President Putin expressed his condolences on Prigozhin’s death the day before the accident and said he would await the outcome of the investigation by the Russian Federal Investigative Committee.
