“Moise was tortured in her bedroom, her daughter fled, while her son and staff were forcibly silenced,” said Carl Henry Destin, one of the judges involved in the investigation.
Destin, as reported by Anadolu Agency on Sunday (11/7/2021), said evidence of torture was that Moise’s right arm and leg were broken.

Most of them are former Colombian military soldiers. Seven suspects were shot dead by police in the firefight following the killings and some are still at large.
The mastermind and motive for the killing have not been revealed by police, although the attack has been going on for several days. Speculation about the mastermind behind the killings has added to the confusion of a curious and angry public about the invasion of foreign mercenaries.
“The president of the Republic, Jovenel Moise, was killed by his security agents. It wasn’t the Colombians who killed him. They were contracted by the Haitian state,” former Haitian senator Steven Benoit said in an interview with Magik9 radio on Friday. Meanwhile, the Haitian government has asked the US and UN to send troops to help secure the country’s ports, airports and other strategic sites. The government fears the country will be hit by unrest after the brutal assassination of President Moise.
