He clarified that the tracker was located “in the bus, but not in the president’s”.
He also drew attention to the fact that over the “last two years, the State Protection Service, under its current management, has conducted over 600 protection operations, including several dozen visits of Polish delegations to the war-torn country, at a time when we were dealing not only with groups sabotage, but with open confrontation, using artillery means, let us recall that the SOP, together with the GROM military unit, secured the visit to Kiev at a time when the troops of the Russian Federation were standing near Kiev and conducting military operations.
— Throughout this perspective of several hundred protective operations that were carried out (…) no one was killed, and this was a real scenario, no one was injured, there was never any direct exposure in a confrontation in an exchange of fire, the locator in all this is just a small means to achieve some goals. If anyone planted it there, their intention was foiled in an exemplary manner, said Siewiera.
According to the tvn24.pl portal, State Protection Service officers found a tracker in a car belonging to the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland in the summer of this year. during a routine inspection. The device allows you to track the car’s position in real time.
The portal noted that President Andrzej Duda did not travel in the car with the tracker under it, although he could have traveled in it. The discovery was made by SOP pyrotechnicians who, in accordance with procedures, were checking cars intended to be part of the presidential motorcade for explosives planted under the cars.
