Claque led by Fernando Madureira was responsible for episodes of violence at the club’s General Assembly
Adelino Caldeira was aware of the entire climate of fear and intimidation that the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the PSP believe was created by the Super Dragões to prevent André Villas-Boas’ supporters from speaking freely at the FC Porto General Assembly held in November 2023.
According to the news provided by the newspaper Observer and confirmed by CNN Portugal, the investigation believes that the administrator of Porto’s SAD acted in collusion with the group led by Fernando Madureira, who is one of the 12 detainees of Operation Praetorian, which investigates precisely the climate of fear caused by the actions of members of that group .
It was at Dragão Caixa, where the General Assembly was held marked by episodes of violence, that, between 22:00 and 00:00, the group led by Fernando Madureira, according to the authorities, began to insult the members assigned to André Villas-Boas, but also other partners, some of them even supporters of the president and re-candidate, Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa.
Among those detained in this operation are, remember, Fernando Madureira’s wife, Sandra, and nine other elements linked to the Super Dragões, and there are also two FC Porto employees among those detained: Fernando Saul, fan liaison officer and Tiago Aguiar, responsible for the club’s External Relations.
