Report of verbal and physical aggression against a lawyer in the metropolitan district office. According to the victim Dobri Raykov, he requested to submit a power of attorney to 1 Police Station to represent a detained person.

But since the detainee already had an official defender appointed, a legal dispute arose – whether he could submit the power of attorney. According to Raykov, the conversation took place in the presence of three employees in the administration – two men and one woman, who refused to identify themselves.
“The bare-headed employee became visibly aggressive. He walked towards me, threatened me in the form of – Are you looking for paint? After that he reached out to me. He grabbed my left arm and pushed me towards the entrance of the room,” Raykov said.
Later, a threat followed and a blow to the lawyer’s neck, he explains himself. This was followed by a reaction from the Ministry of the Interior. The director of the Metropolitan Police will launch an investigation into the case. According to the initial data he received from the First RU, the lawyer was admitted to the detained person. However, he was remanded in custody for up to 72 hours and was to be escorted to the investigation.
