Investigation Launched into Death of Pregnant Student in Parepare City

A female student in Parepare City, South Sulawesi (Sulsel), with the initials NA (21) died while pregnant and her face looked red and blue. The police investigate the case.

“The family said that they had been examined by a doctor that this victim died with a baby in the stomach,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit Parepare Police Marizaldi in AKP dilansir detikSulselSaturday (29/7/2023).

Deki said the victim was a student at a campus in Parepare City. Deki explained that the victim, who was not feeling well, initially asked his friend to come to his boarding house at BTN Taman Palem, Lapadde Village, Ujung District, Parepare City, on Thursday (27/7) around 21.00 WITA.

However, the condition of the victim was lying down when the witness or his friend arrived at the boarding house. The victim’s friend immediately took him to the hospital (RS). Arriving at Sumantri Hospital, the victim was examined by a doctor, but it turned out that he had died.

Deki explained that the family also considered that there were irregularities with the condition of the body of the victim who died. The victim’s face looks bluish red.

“It was suspected that death was not natural, right, so the family, when they got home, the victim’s face turned red and blue, so the family called the doctor, checked because they felt that this had died unnaturally,” he explained.
