The Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office (SGP) will verify a report sent by the absconding former investigator Petyo Petrov-Evroto. It alleges the giving of bribes. This was reported to “24 Chasa” by the deputy city prosecutor of Sofia, Hristo Krastev.
The report claims that Euroto gave BGN 10,000 to the Bulgarian prosecutor at the European Prosecutor’s Office, Teodora Georgieva. The money was transferred to the restaurant “Eight Dwarfs”, and this happened in the period 2019-2023.

“We are starting a check on the signal that arrived, it is signed, but there is no way to say whether the signature is actually Petyo Petrov’s,” explained Hristo Krastev.
Petyo Petrov disappeared at the end of May this year. His whereabouts are still unclear.
