Office of the Attorney General Opened disciplinary investigation against the Uribista Cali councilor, Andrés Escobar, for some photos in the Military Canton of Pichincha that went viral on networks in January of this year.

He also pointed out that the commander of the Military Police Battalion, Edwin Castaño, warned Escobar that he could not appear in the record published on networks and that the counselor did not listen to the order.
The Attorney General’s Office confirms that Castaño said “without the approval of any echelon of management, he deliberately and maliciously decided to record and publish on social networks.” In March , the leader was freed and transferred by Escobar joined the battalion.
