KPK found 15 firearms (senpi) when searching the house Here Mahendra related to the TPPU case, former secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Nurhadi. The police are currently investigating the weapons.
“For the 15 guns that have been handed over by the KPK to the National Police, the Police are currently investigating the origins of the guns. update back,” said Karo Penmas Divhumas Polri Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan to journalists, Monday (20/3/2023).
Ramadhan has not been able to detail about the gun. They will provide details in the near future.
“We’ll explain later, we won’t say bits and pieces,” he said.
Previously, the KPK had searched Dito Mahendra’s house in connection with the money laundering crime case (TPPU) of former Supreme Court Secretary (MA) Nurhadi. Investigators found a total of 15 firearms from Dito’s house.
“In the search, it was true that the team found 15 firearms of various types,” said Head of KPK Reporting Unit Ali Fikri at the KPK building, Jalan Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday (17/3).
Ali said the 15 firearms consisted of several types. Five of the firearms are Glock types.
“Five Glocks, one S&W, one pistol gimber microas well as 8 long-barreled firearms,” he said.
The KPK is currently investigating the ownership of the firearms. The anti-corruption agency has also coordinated with the National Police regarding dozens of firearms found during a search of Dito Mahendra’s house.
