REDACTION. The director of the health region in the south of the country, Justo Padilla, announced that an investigation process has begun into the mysterious death of a two-month-old baby, in the municipality of Marcovia, department of Choluteca.
The infant’s parents report that she died from the application of a vaccine. According to the preliminary report of the facts, her mother took the child to a care center where they gave him an injection. Consequently, she denounced that the baby “died because of that vaccine.” In response to the accusation, Padilla assured that they will investigate the facts.
“I issued precise and immediate instructions for the investigation process to begin, both to the network team and to the expanded immunization program,” the doctor said.
The mother attributes the death of her baby to the application of a vaccine at a health center in Marcovia, Choluteca.
