A 58-year-old woman got behind the wheel of her car on Wednesday and was caught by the police. According to the mission report, she was on the Achternmeerer Strasse in Wardenburg at around 3:15 p.m. when police officers noticed her. During the subsequent traffic control, the officials noticed the smell of alcohol from the 58-year-old from Wardenburg. An alcohol test confirmed this suspicion, it showed a value of 1.49 per thousand. Because of this, a doctor drew blood from the woman. In the further course, the 58-year-old could not prove a valid driver’s license, so the officers are currently checking whether she is in possession of a driver’s license. For the time being, the police forbade her to continue the journey and initiated investigations.
