One person was found dead outside at the entrance to a terraced house on the eve of 17 May.
Police and other emergency services arrived quickly in the city, not far from Orkanger city center.
The police were notified of the find at 11.08.
– The case is being investigated as a suspicious death and we are in the city with several units, operations manager Bjørnar Gåsvik in Trøndelag police district informs NRK.
– Is anyone aiming for the case?
– We have to get back to that, says Gåsvik.
Follow VG Gåsvik does not rule out that there may be a criminal act behind the death.
The municipal director in Orkland, Ingvill Kvernmo, informs NRK that, for example, they have not seen any crisis staff after the incident.
– We have been in contact with the police and we have a crisis team if it is necessary, says Kvernmo.
All available crew from the police were sent to Orkdal and the city where the dead person was found.
