Investigating cause of stampede in Texas that left 8 dead

One of the hypotheses is that there were people injecting drugs into the assistants and that would have been a reason for the lack of control and subsequent tragedy.

Houston, Texas.- Security agents from the Houston, Texas police are investigating what or who caused the human avalanche that left eight dead at rapper Travis Scott’s concert on Friday night that left 8 dead.

Through the videos, they warned, they would get to the bottom of one of the strongest hypotheses, that someone was injecting drugs at the site, as denounced by the attendees themselves.

The tragedy occurred in the middle of the concert attended by approximately 50 thousand fans of the rapper.

It was around 9:15 p.m. local time, when for some reason, panic broke out and the crowd began to push in the direction of the stage.

As a result, 8 people are dead, 25 were hospitalized and 13 received medical care on site without presenting any major problems.

This theory was even handled in lectures and interviews given by Houston Police Chief Troy Finner.

The police chief revealed that a security agent who was trying to immobilize someone during the concert, received a “puncture” in the neck, he lost consciousness for which he was given a drug called Naloxone, which serves to reverse an overdose of opioids.

For his part, the fire chief, Sam Peña, indicated that during the concert the paramedics administered several doses of Naloxone so that the kind of drug application in full concert is gaining more and more force.

The investigation became criminal and the homicide and narcotics units of the Houston Police Department are implicated.
