We lived in my father’s ET (usufruct) apartment until recently. It was a 4 person house and we lived in an apartment and he lived in the same house. It was impossible to live with him, which is why we had to move. I took out a loan for the renovation of the apartment where there is still a large outstanding balance. I have no rights to the apartment, whether it is for sale or for rent, but I still have to pay the mortgage every month. The apartment has been empty for months. I just want to get rid of the apartment and cancel the donation. I would only be interested in my rights in this case. I’ve already had to apply for a new loan to secure our livelihood. Unfortunately, a deal with my father is impossible.
