The executive bodies in the eastern region of Cairo governorate, represented in the Heliopolis and Al-Nuzha neighborhoods, continue the inventory work of real estate located in some areas in preparation for re-planning, relocation and compensation of their residents.
Re-planning of the Almaza region
Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Deputy Governor of Cairo for the Eastern Region, held a meeting on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, with residents of the Almaza area, Hussein Kamel Selim Street.
The meeting came within the framework of the plan to re-plan the area and start receiving requests from citizens to pay compensation, in the presence of Major General Hossam Labib, head of Heliopolis district.
Major General Hossam Labib, head of the Heliopolis district, revealed the details of listing 66 properties in the Almaza area within the neighborhood.
Labib said, in statements to Masrawy, that there are no instructions from the neighborhood regarding what will be implemented in the region or the fate of the real estate after the inventory process.
He added that the instructions given to the neighborhood are to carry out inventory work for families in only 66 properties in the area in order to use them in re-planning, and that after completing the inventory work, the neighborhood will reach the new situation regarding dealing with real estate and residents.
Heliopolis continues to complete the enumeration of 66 properties in the Almaza area, as part of a plan to fully develop and re-plan the Almaza area, which is the main entrance to Cairo from the Suez Road.
Inventory of the real estate in the Araishia area in the High Step
Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Deputy Governor of Cairo for the Eastern Region, continued inventorying real estate in the Al-Araishiya area in Haykstep, in the Al-Nozha neighborhood, on April 6, 2023.
This comes within the framework of the re-planning plan for the area, as Izbat al-Matar and Izbat al-Ikhlas in Haykstep have already been completed.
