A terrible invasion of jellyfish is observed in the waters of the Black Sea. The living “compote” is off the coast of Constanta. This is broadcast by the Romanian ProTV.
Biologists reassure that they are not dangerous, but advise people not to touch them.
Jellyfish can be seen near the beaches of Constanta and the resorts of Eforie, Kostinesti and Mangalia.
The Lung jellyfish species can reach 60 cm in diameter. The upper part of the body is bluish.
According to scientists, the increase in population is due to higher temperatures. Jellyfish appear more in autumn, when the north wind and storms bring them to the coast.
