In the Kharkov direction, the enemy is concentrating his main efforts on holding occupied lines and preventing the advance of our troops.
This is in the operational summary as of 6 am today, July 5, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The enemy fired artillery, multiple launch rocket systems and tanks at the areas of the settlements of Kutuzovka, Novoe, Russian Tishki, Malaya Danilovka and Dementievka. Inflicted an air strike on the city of Kharkiv,” the statement said.

In the Slavic direction, the enemy carried out artillery shelling not far from Krasnopolye, Pervomaisky, Novaya Nikolaevka, Bogorodichny, Adamovka, Dolyna, Mazanka, Dibrivnoye, Chepil and Mospanovoe. The assault of the enemy in the direction of the village of Dolyna was successfully repelled by Ukrainian soldiers.
Recall that on the night of July 5 the enemy again fired at Kharkov “out of schedule”. Two powerful explosions were heard in the city at about 2 am.
