Introducing Xbox Game Pass Core: The Future of Online Gaming with Curated Game Library

Xbox Game Pass Core

Earlier Microsoft announced that from September 14th the new service Xbox Game Pass Core Will replace existing Xbox Live Gold membership. There is no change to the subscription fee that players will pay, which is still $10 per month or $60 per year. Subscribers will still be able to take advantage of the online connectivity and membership benefits, but starting September 1st, the original monthly membership free games will no longer be available.

Correspondingly, Microsoft will prepare a curated game library for XGPC subscribers to play for free. It will contain more than 25 works (the first batch includes “Fallout 4”, “Among Us”, “Gears of War 5”, “The Elder Scrolls Online”, etc.), and the follow-up will continue to be updated, the frequency is about 2 to 3 times a year.

Members who have already subscribed to Xbox Live Gold will automatically complete the conversion on the day the new service goes live. The XLG games you have received before can still continue to play while maintaining the subscription status.
