Apple announced the latest version of its smart watch operating system watchOS 10, which fundamentally changes the way the user interacts with the Apple Watch by reintegrating widgets, as this update comes a few days before the arrival of the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra.
The update is available for Apple Watch Series 4 and later, and watchOS 10 can be downloaded for free through the Apple Watch application on an iPhone running iOS 17.
The Apple Watch must have at least a 50 percent charge in order to install watchOS 10, and the watch must be placed on the charger.
With watchOS 10, Apple overhauled the Apple Watch interface with a renewed focus on widgets, which includes Smart Stack, a customizable widget pack that uses machine learning to display widgets that it expects you’ll want to see and use.
