At the end of last September, Xiaomi announced its new smart watch (Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro), which runs the Wear OS operating system, during an event it held in Berlin.
This smart watch offers a wide range of features, including body composition analysis and dual-frequency GPS. It will be available in two versions, the first: supports Bluetooth connectivity only, and the second: the LTE version that supports Bluetooth and phone networks, allowing you to receive calls and text messages and stay connected even without a paired smartphone.

The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro comes with a circular design similar to traditional watches with a 46 mm stainless steel frame, and you will find a rotating digital crown surrounded by two buttons on the right side of the watch.
The Digital Crown is very smooth to rotate and is easy to use to control many of the elements on the watch’s display.
Available in black with a synthetic rubber strap and silver with a leather strap, the Watch 2 Pro is also water-resistant to 5ATM, and weighs 54 grams without its strap.

Processor and basic features:
The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro runs on a Qualcomm (Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1) processor manufactured with 4nm technology, and this processor ensures smoothness and speed in performance.
The Watch 2 Pro contains a sensor to measure skin temperature, and a body composition sensor to analyze body composition to determine the percentage of body fat and muscle mass, and this sensor was only available in the Galaxy Watch series from Samsung until now.
This smartwatch also supports 150 sports modes, lets you track stress, blood oxygen levels, sleep, and heart rate, and has dual-frequency GPS, like the more expensive Garmin watches.
This watch supports Wi-Fi networks, Bluetooth 5.2, and near-field communication (NFC) technology.
Battery and charging:
The Watch 2 Pro has a 495 mAh battery, which is 70 mAh larger than Samsung’s Galaxy Watch6 Classic. The Watch 2 Pro can continue to work up to 65 hours on a single charge.

The watch will be sold at $280 for the Bluetooth version, and $340 for the LTE version, and Xiaomi did not provide a specific launch date.
