This feature uses the TrueDepth camera to measure the distance between the screen and your eyes, and this feature is not enabled by default, you have to turn it on manually in the Settings app.

How is Screen Distance activated and used?

Here are the steps you need to follow to enable Screen Distance feature.

Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.

Click on Screen Time.

Scroll down and tap Screen space.
