Samsung recently introduced the Freestyle Gen 2, the world’s first portable projector with built-in cloud games, and works with a Bluetooth controller.
The FreeStyle 2 is a portable smart projector that can turn almost any surface, including the ceiling, into a screen of up to 100 inches. Users can use the device to play games from Xbox and other streaming partners without the need for a console.
The portable nature of the projector adds to its appeal, allowing users to have a mini theater wherever they go. Of course, it can also stream content from your standard entertainment apps, like Netflix.
To use the FreeStyle 2 as a portable gaming device, users just have to sync their favorite Bluetooth controller, set up the FreeStyle, point and play.
It also supports many apps including Spotify, YouTube, and Twitch, so gamers can play videos or music while gaming. The device can display content with a resolution of 30 to 100 inches and is automatically optimized for a resolution of 1920 x 1080.
The device is now available for pre-order and will start shipping on August 31, according to the Full Claird website.
