In recent years, the JBL Classics series of speakers has become very popular, and the brand has decided to extend its retro design inspiration to more products, including the Authentics series of wireless speakers expected to be launched in mid-September. The series includes three speakers, Authentics 500, Authentics 300 and Authentics 200, all models feature high-grade aluminum frames, synthetic leather-wrapped enclosures and redesigned Quadrex grilles for a retro look, all with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth function, with network streaming functions such as AirPlay, Spotify Connect and Chromecast, and other functions include controlling EQ and automatic space adjustment through JBL One App. The top-of-the-range Authentics 500 (priced at £579.99, about HK$5,740) has three tweeters, three midrange units, and one 6.5-inch down-firing woofer, with a total output of 270W and supports simulated Dolby Atmos sound effects. The Authentics 300 (£379.99, about HK$3,780) has a handle and is the only one in the series with a built-in battery, which can provide 8 hours of playback time. The smallest Authentics 200 (£299.99, about HK$2,980) has built-in three tweeters, a 5-inch full-range driver, and a 6-inch passive radiator to enhance the bass.
