Introducing the New Song ‘Akanum’ from the Film Muppaparapile

The new song of Muppaparapile written and directed by CB Padiyara is out. Now the makers have shared the lyrical video of the song ‘Akanum’ from the film. JP Tavarul’s lyrics are composed by Joji Thomas and the song is sung by Sunil Matthai. The film, which tells a story in the background of the Theiyams of Malabar, will hit the theaters on September 8.

Aparna Janardhanan will be the female lead in Mupupparappil, which stars Sunil Surya in the lead role after the film ‘Thingalazha Nishakham’. Jayaprakashan KK, who is also the co-writer and lyricist of the film, is the producer.

Muppaparap also has the distinction of being the last film in which actor Mamukoya acted. Along with the leading stars, many newcomers are lining up at the top. Emphasis on music, love and humor, the film unfolds through the inner conflicts of Chathuttipperuvannan, a renowned theyam artist in a village that constantly reverberates with the vibrations of rock mining. Environmental issues are also being discussed in the context of Kannur.

Jones Panikkal, Sinu Seethathot, Shamal Swamidas, Bijo Modiil Kumpalampoyka, Haridas Patcheni, Manoj CP, Aditya PO, Advait PO and Leju Nair Nariapuram are the co-producers of Muppaparap.

Along with Shivdas Mattannur, Unniraj Cheruvathur, Urmila Unni, Chandradasan Lokadharmi, Majeed, Bindu Krishna, Rajitha Madhu, around 100 new faces and many Theyam artists are acting.
