This is a new software that records online flagrancy procedures, first instructions, and compliance with arrest warrants, that is, the police will no longer have to wait for the Prosecutor’s Office to instruct proceedings, summonses or transfer the accused to a hearing. detention control by telephone, since with the new system, said procedure will be carried out with this new tool, which in turn will be integrated with the Judicial Branch so that the Public Ministry can request current detention orders.
The new Log will not only allow for keeping an orderly and systematized record of police procedures regarding facts constituting flagrante delicto, but will also generate greater transparency, as the historical record of all the antecedents recorded in the procedure remains.
This unique system at the national level was put into practice during the development of the Santiago 2023 Pan American and Parapan American Games, starting on October 19 in the Metropolitan region, Valparaíso, O’Higgins, Maule, Biobío, Arica and Parinacota and Magallanes.
The second stage will be applied to the region of Tarapacá, Antofagasta, Coquimbo, Ñuble, Araucanía, Los Ríos, Los Lagos, Atacama and Aysén.
