“Microsoft Loop” App Appears in “Microsoft Store”
US Microsoft announced on August 1 (Japan time) that it released the “Microsoft Loop” app at the “Microsoft Store”. It supports “Windows 10 version 21H2” or later and can be downloaded for free now.
“Microsoft Loop” is a collaboration app that is seen as a rival to “Notion.” You can create pages using headings, tables, lists, tables, and formatted text, manage them hierarchically, and collaborate with multiple members through “@mentions”.
In addition, pages and parts of them can be turned into “components” and reused in other “Microsoft 365” apps, so you can share them with “Outlook” email or “Teams” chat, or create a task list with “Planner”. It is also possible to link with “” and “To Do”.
The “Loop” component can be viewed and edited even when away from the embedded app, and additions and corrections by team members are reflected in real time. Therefore, information is not scattered even though it can be accessed from anywhere.
Home screen “Loop” workspace that can be used like a wiki “Loop” component can be used for reaction and version management “Outlook” mail embedding
The “Loop” app released in the “Microsoft Store” this time is “loop.microsoft.com” turned into a “progressive web app”. Although it is actually a web application, it can be installed and used like a local application.
The “Loop” app is currently being previewed. Since it is not yet an official version, there may be problems with functions and performance. I would like to actively feedback when I find a problem and help improve the product.
