Leaked documents gossip that a brand new Xbox controller is coming next year, but in the meantime, Microsoft is also releasing new versions of the existing controller. We’ve previously seen a variant made partly from recycled plastic, but this month something considerably more luxurious is coming.
The Gold Shadow Special Edition is an Xbox controller with a metallic gold color that gradually fades to black, including a gold shimmering power cross. The back, on the other hand, is all black and includes rubberized grips and textured triggers as well as shoulder buttons. Otherwise, it includes everything you would expect from an Xbox controller.
The release takes place on October 17 and you can pre-book it now for SEK 870.
