Introducing the Huawei Watch GT4: A New Collection of Smart Wearable Devices with Enhanced Features and Stylish Designs

During a special event in Barcelona, Spain, Huawei announced its new collection of smart wearable devices, the most prominent of which was its smart watch (Huawei Watch GT4).

The Watch GT4 comes in two elegant options: the 41 mm model with the Pendant Design, and the 46 mm model with the Octogonal Design.

The watch supports the updated TruSeen 5.5+ technology, which is a new set of sensors and algorithms to provide the most accurate and detailed capabilities for health monitoring.

The 41 mm and 46 mm models differ in battery life and shape, and the price of both models starts at 250 euros. As for the battery, the battery of the larger model lasts up to 14 days, while the battery of the smaller model lasts up to 7 days.

However, both models feature a 20 percent longer battery life compared to the Watch GT3, and the new series also comes with an improved version of the Always-On Display feature, which now displays an increase in the number of visual elements by About 20 percent.

The 46 mm model has a 1.43-inch screen, while the 41 mm model has a 1.32-inch screen. Both AMOLED screens have a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, making the density 326 pixels per inch for the 46 mm model, and 352 pixels per inch for the 41 mm model.

The TruSeen 5.5 Plus technology provides the new TruSleep 3.0 feature, which includes the Sleep Monitoring feature, which tracks your sleep cycles and helps you improve your sleep habits.

In addition, the Sleep Breathing Awareness feature monitors your heart rate and SPO2 during sleep and alerts you to any breathing problems.

Also new is the Menstrual Cycle Management 3.0 feature, which Huawei claims is 15 percent more accurate in menstrual cycle predictions on the first day compared to mainstream smart watches.

This technology tracks women’s heart rates during sleep, body temperature during sleep, and other physiological factors to predict the menstrual cycle and record symptoms in real time.

For outdoor exercise, dual-band, five-band GNSS technology provides 30 percent more accurate positioning, even when surrounded by tall buildings. The watch can track a variety of sports, reaching more than 100 sports, and it now includes things such as e-sports.

The new Stay Fit feature helps track the calories you eat with real-time health data. Activity rings provide quick information about your performance throughout the day, showing calories burned, exercise duration, and activity while standing.

The new Huawei watch (Watch GT4) works with smartphones running Android and iOS. It also integrates with applications such as Strava, Komoot, and Runtastic, in addition to Huawei’s Petal Maps.

It can also display texts from SMS messages and instant messaging applications, such as: WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Skype, Signal, and Telegram, in addition to Instagram, and it also allows sending quick responses. The watch also supports communication via Bluetooth.

The Huawei Watch GT4 will be available in the United Kingdom and Europe starting next October 4 through pre-orders at the Huawei Store.
