Introducing the FLVW FairPlay Traffic Light for Youth Footballers

Those: FLVW

Proudly presenting the result: The EIII youth of TuS Westfalia Wethmar with the completed FairPlay traffic light.

Red, yellow, green: With the FairPlay traffic light of the Football and Athletics Association of Westphalia (FLVW), the topic of value formation is already being initiated among young footballers. Thanks to the support of its health partner AOK NordWest, the FLVW, together with its districts and clubs, would like to ensure fair coexistence on and off the pitch.

Fair play, team spirit, respect, communication and mutual help are just a few examples that are always called for in football, but are very rarely discussed proactively on or off the field in everyday training. This is exactly where the FairPlay traffic light comes in: It was specially developed for this purpose together with the health partner AOK NordWest. It is intended to set targeted impulses in children’s football that will be valuable for the later career of the children.
The EIII juniors of TuS Westfalia Wethmar show how easy it is to use the FLVW FairPlay traffic light.

Together, the coaches and the players should visually assign essential attitudes to the traffic light colors and record them on a team poster. From “What do we particularly enjoy about football?” to “What we don’t like at all!”.

The EIII juniors from TuS Westfalia Wethmar in the FLVW district of Unna/Hamm have now shown the way. We accompanied the team in filling out the FairPlay traffic light and will show you in the Videohow easily and playfully the topic of value formation can be conveyed to the youngest.
