The California Classics has a hollowed-out swamp ash body. It is surmounted by a domed maple top itself topped with a dappled maple veneer. The neck is flamed maple and features an ebony fingerboard with a 14 inch radius. The latter accommodates 22 Jumbo stainless steel frets for a pitch of 25.5 inches.
The hardware includes locking Schecter Nouveau tuners, a Schecter Nouveau two-point tremolo and a Graph Tech TUSQ nut.
Finally, the electronics include a Schecter USA Pasadena pickup in the bridge position and two Schecter USA MonsterTone pickups for an HSS configuration. They are controlled by a master volume with push/pull, a master tone with push/pull and a five position selector.
Supplied in a Deluxe Tweed case and made in Japan, the new California Classics retails for $2,499.
