The design of the new Bose headphones has become known through leaks and promotional images. The Verge shared real photos of the QuietComfort Ultra, which looks stylish and combines design elements from the company’s latest headphones with a more premium style.

Photos confirm that the headphones can be folded (unlike the Noise Canceling Headphones 700 model). There will also be a new touch volume control in addition to the other physical buttons.

On the Noise Canceling Headphones 700, the volume was adjusted by swiping up or down on the right earcup. Now there is a special place for this, which users can more easily remember and find, minimizing the risk of accidental pressing.

Bose is also making use of the spatial audio support in the QuietComfort Ultra headphones. A new immersive audio mode promises to improve and add depth to the sound. Users will be able to choose between two options – static and dynamic. While the static mode is ideal for quiet listening, the dynamic mode is optimized for situations where the user is on the move.

The headphones come in a stylish oval-shaped fabric case measuring 16.51 cm high, 16.51 cm wide and 6.35 cm deep. Includes USB-C/USB-A universal charging cable and wired adapter with 2.5 mm and 3.5 mm connectors.

The QuietComfort Ultra headphones are also Snapdragon Sound certified, providing support for better Bluetooth codecs (when used with Android phones) and less latency in games.

Although many details about the QuietComfort Ultra headphones, such as battery life or sound quality improvements, remain unknown until the official announcement by Bose, the source The Verge, who has tried the new headphones, described them as very comfortable. Bose traditionally does not fail in this aspect. Probably, the headphones will be expensive, which is emphasized by the prefix “Ultra” in their name.
