Hilti, Nuron, headquartered in Jebel Ali Free Zone, has launched a new wireless platform that can improve job site productivity, cost efficiency, and safety. Nuron relies on a single battery platform that covers all relevant uses from light to heavy duty.
Thomas Dropset, head of the Gulf branch, said: “Arranging cables and power generators on construction sites takes about a fifth of the working day, and work on high floors, high and narrow areas, and remote and large sites becomes more complex and takes longer.
At Hilti, we develop innovative products that enhance our customers’ productivity. Nuron allows experts to convert most power tools to cordless devices, and we will continue to add more products to this platform over the coming years.”
The redesigned Noron batteries are more durable with their new glass-fiber-reinforced structure and shock-absorbing outer edges, providing additional protection even in the harshest conditions in our region. Additionally, its electronics are sealed to provide protection from moisture, dust, and other contaminants.
Hilti also worked with construction experts to develop two new technologies to increase safety when using the corner range. The 3D ATC system shuts down the tool and activates the disc brakes when sudden, uncontrolled movement in any direction occurs. This same risk-reducing function comes with the new SensTech system, which senses when the operator’s hand is removed and turns off the tool when it is accidentally dropped.
Thomas Dropset, Gulf Branch Head, added: “We are committed to bringing cloud connectivity to the UAE by 2025. Through services currently available from Hilti such as Toolkit Management and OnTrack, tool data can be used to improve many processes and reduce Downtime and costs.
