Chinese computer and tablet brand CHUWI has announced the world’s first Alder-N N100 processor-equipped GemiBook XPro.
World’s first laptop with Alder-N N100 processor
As of February 24, 2023, when the GemiBook xPro was released, it is the world’s only laptop equipped with an Intel Core i3-N100 series processor. In addition, it has a built-in 8GB DDR5 memory and a 256GB M.2 solid state hard disk, and supports Wi-Fi6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Pricing is expected to be under $300.

Along with the actual machine release, the parameters were compared. A Geekbench5 test video from VideoCardz shows that the N100 processor has a significant single thread improvement over its predecessor, the N5105.
Also, the increase in multithreading was modest, and 3Dmark’s performance test of two entry-level graphics cards was very smooth.
“GemiBook xPro” demonstrates high performance in usage scenes such as office work, watching videos, browsing websites, and online lessons.
According to the company, the average number of frames when playing the online game “League of Legends” was 56 FPS, and the maximum number of frames was 82 FPS.

The GemiBook xPro features a new Core N100 series processor and a 14.1-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1920×1080.
In addition, it can be opened and closed 180 degrees, making it easier to use, weighs only 1.4 kg, is about 19.9 mm thin, and is compatible with Windows 11 OS.
